Dirk Is A Beast
Thursday's Show in Review:
1110- Mavs win in OT over the Spurs at home to even the series with San Antonio. Kevin asks how big is the win this early in the season. Mike says the "new" Dirk made the difference.
1125- Kevin says the mavs win over the Lakers was a bigger win than last night's over S.A. because the Lakers will rise to the top and it shows what Dallas can do when they hit on all cylinders. Mike says it's too early to compare the "bigness" of wins.
1140- Reports come out of D.C. that Clinton Portis is isolating himself from the team. Kevin says that makes this a "fish in the barrel"
1210- Mike and Kevin discuss the type of coach that Wade Phillips is compared to Tom Cable's toughness, Rex Ryan crying, Eric Mangini in Cleveland and Mark Mangino from Kansas. Mike says he would take Wade over all of them.
1225- ESPN Analyst Ed Werder joins the show with inside information that Tony Romo went directly to Doug Free to express his confidence. The Redskins are a rivalry game but it's so bad in Washington it could be an easier game than usual for the Cowboys.

1240- "Hot List" NFL defends refs about Green Bay fumble, Jeremy Shockey says Lebron can't handle the NFL, Terry Bradshaw goes after Roy Williams. [PODCAST]
110- "Big Fella'" Nate Newton joins the show to talk Mavs. Kevin says the Mavs are relying too much on Dirk and Nate says that's what a superstar does. The guys argue if Dirk will ever be able to get it done in a big game.
125- Jason Garret addresses the play calling issues in Green Bay. Was it really the circumstances of the game that led to the overwhelming amount of pass plays? Nate says with the injuries to the line that the Cowboys had to pass.
140- We wrap up the show with a discussion on the identity of the Cowboys. Are they an offensive force or does the defense carry them?
