2012 Copa ESPN

*** Copa ESPN 2012 will resume Friday night April 20th at 7pm from McInnish Soccer Complex. All semi and semifinal games will be played on Saturday starting at 4 p.m., with ALL Championship games to be played at 7 p.m. ***

ESPN Dallas is proud to present the biggest local youth soccer tournament in Dallas/Fort Worth -- the 4th annual Copa ESPN!

This year's event will take place April 13-15, at McInnish Soccer Complex in Carrollton, Texas.

Copa ESPN has become one of Dallas-Ft Worth's most talked about youth soccer tournament. The tournament will again be played over three days, with more than 10,000 players and spectators expected over the weekend. COPA ESPN will again feature the area's best recreational and select teams chosen from an open application process. The invitation-only "Copa ESPN 2012" will consist of 72 teams with more than 1,000 players and six age categories (under eight, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18).

Copa ESPN will send the championship team from the U14 category, to compete in Orlando, Fla. for the Disney Cup International July 16-21.

ESPN Deportes network anchor David Faitelson is expected to attend the three-day event and ESPN Dallas' marquee talent line up of Randy Galloway, Ian Fitzsimmons, Matt Mosley, Ben Rogers, Jeff "Skin" Wade and others will be broadcasting shows from the event. They will be joined by ESPNDallas.com writers covering the event from the McInnish Soccer Complex.
