Can anyone stop the Mavericks?

SPECIAL TO ESPN.COM

March, 5, 2007 | Dick's Stock Watch provides a fast-glance review of the past week in the world of sports, charting whose stock is up and whose is down.

STOCK UP
The Dallas Mavericks have now won 15 straight games. Avery Johnson's team is 50-9.

The San Antonio Spurs have also won eight straight games.

Roger Federer now has 41 straight match victories after winning this weekend.

STOCK DOWN
The MLB Players Association told its members to stop cooperating with the Mitchell investigation. I would hope players would want this all cleaned up.

The Golden State Warriors have lost six straight games.

The Atlanta Hawks have dropped five in a row.

Dick Vitale coached the Pistons and the University of Detroit before broadcasting ESPN's first college basketball game in December 1979. Send him a question for possible use on ESPNEWS.
