Gators swim to Atlanta

SPECIAL TO ESPN.COM

March 25, 2007

Billy Donovan and his Florida Gators are going back to the Final Four after beating Oregon.

Lee Humphrey had struggled in the early rounds but came through with seven trifectas as he finished with 23 points. It was a big day for the Gator backcourt as Taurean Green added 21.

Oregon's Tajuan Porter who scored 33 points against UNLV...was held in check by the Gators defense.

Florida lost at LSU and at Tennessee and there were some wondering if the Gators deserved a number one seed. Donovan's team has been focused since the Southeastern Conference Tournament.

The Gators have the most balanced starting lineup in College Basketball as each starter is capable of scoing. Humphrey showed that on Sunday. Florida can beat you inside...outside...in transition...or on second chance opportunities off the glass.

Now Donovan's team can make history with two more wins. Florida can become the first team since duke in 1991 and 92 to win consecutive titles.
