Look for the University of Michigan to ask for permission to speak to Seton Hall coach Tommy Amaker after this season.
Michigan's administration will contact Seton Hall, and if given permission, the Ann Arbor school will offer Amaker its head coaching position. He is clearly the top choice on the Wolverines' hit list.
My heart goes out to current Michigan coach Brian Ellerbe. I know how hard he has worked to build the Wolverines' program. Despite his efforts, the school's administration has decided to go in a different direction.
Amaker is in his fourth season as Seton Hall's head coach. He led the Pirates to the Sweet 16 last season.
