Why is he on the list?
Just because he plays in Montreal doesn't mean he won't become the best player in the game. He hit 42 home runs last year, hit .316 and has a rocket arm compared to Roberto Clemente. Scary potential.

Who is he? Swimmer

Why is he on the list?
Because this Australian is the best bet to dominate the 2000 Olympics -- in Sydney. At the Pan Pacific games in August, he set three world records in three days. Oh, and he'll be around in 2004 as well. And maybe 2008.
