ALCS: Angels have options with their pitchers

With two days off since Game 5, Angels manager Mike Scioscia could go with many possible pitchers in relief if necessary tonight. Depending on the score and inning, Jered Weaver, who started Game 3 last Monday and pitched one inning of relief in Game 5 on Thursday, is one possibility. So is John Lackey, who started and pitched 6 2/3 innings Thursday night. Both pitchers are also options to start a possible Game 7.

"There are a lot of options,'' Scioscia said of his relievers. "If it's a situation coming in to clean up an inning, it's more likely to be someone who's in the comfort zone, probably a reliever. As far as starting an inning, sure, we could go with a starter there.''
