Toney continues along comeback trail

TAUNTON, Mass. -- Former two-time world champion James Toney kept whatever hopes he had of landing a rematch with Roy Jones Jr. alive with a 10-round unanimous decision over Ramon Garbey in a non-title cruiserweight bout Friday night.

Toney, of Los Angeles, weighed 194 pounds and improved to 58-4-2. Garbey, a former three-time world amateur champion from Cuba now living in Miami, weighed 197½ and dropped to 18-2.
