NBA All-Star Profile: Walt Frazier

Walt Frazier, who went Southern Illinois, began his NBA career in 1967 when the New York Knicks selected him in the first round of the draft.

Frazier's cool demeanor and smooth style of play on the court electrified crowds at Madison Square Garden. Frazier, who was nicknamed "Clyde," could not only score, but was adept at passing and also a fierce defender. In 1970, Frazier led the Knicks to an NBA title.
