Mathewson reaches 300-win milestone

Christy Mathewson, the New York Giants' brilliant right-hander, is the first pitcher to win 300 games all in the 20th century. He reaches the milestone with a 3-2 victory over the Chicago Cubs at New York's Brush Stadium.
