Heilman has no timetable to get to Shea
NEW YORK -- The New York Mets signed right-hander Aaron Heilman, their first pick from June's draft, to a contract Tuesday.
"I'm fortunate to get this thing done," Heilman said at Shea Stadium before the Mets played Toronto. "I look forward to getting started and work my way up to play in this stadium."
The 6-foot-5, 225-pound Heilman was the 18th pick in the draft,
