Colorado team covered uniforms with non-stick spray
DENVER -- The Colorado state's defending Class 4A prep football champion might not be allowed to defend its title because players smeared their uniforms with a slick cooking spray.
State high school athletic officials said Loveland would not be required to forfeit its 20-12 defeat of Greeley Central, but must address the issue before it can proceed in the 4A playoffs.
