Our take on the top five backcourts in the nation:

Connecticut Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi are as good as it gets. They shoot, they pass, they penetrate and make good decisions.

Oklahoma Stacey Dales is the prototype point guard with good size and range. LaNeishea Caufield is a pesky defender and a force in the open court.

Duke Blue Devils thrive with interchangeable parts like Alana Beard, Sheana Mosch and Rometra Craig. Toss in freshman Monique Curry and they have speed to burn.
