Affirmed Success shows up in allowance

JAMAICA, N.Y. -- Affirmed Success, a horse who isn't normally associated with winter racing in New York, showed up in Saturday's Aqueduct entries in a $56,000 classified allowance race.

Affirmed Success, a Grade 1 winner and top-class performer on dirt and turf at distances up to a mile, is one of seven older horses entered in the mile-and-70-yard race.
