Prospect loses second straight year to torn labrum
PEORIA, Ariz. -- Despite facing the prospect of missing his second straight complete season because of another shoulder operation, Seattle Mariners farmhand Ryan Anderson thinks he'll still pitch in the major leagues.
"They say if you get the surgery and it's done right, you should come back the same," the 6-foot-10 left-hander said Thursday, the day after the team announced Anderson would be lost for another year.
