Koehn's outside shooting leads K-State to win

MANHATTAN, Kan. -- Laurie Koehn made five 3-pointers and scored 27 overall as Kansas State beat Kent State 93-65 Friday night in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Kansas State (25-7) the third-seeded team in the Mideast Regional, shot 59 percent in the first half and was not threatened after taking a 48-29 lead at the break.
