Moog rejoins Stars as an assistant coach
DALLAS -- The Dallas Stars signed four-time All-Star goaltender Andy Moog to a three-year contract Wednesday as an assistant to new coach Dave Tippett.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
The 42-year-old Moog played 713 NHL games for Edmonton, Boston, Dallas and Montreal before retiring after the 1997-98 season. He played 175 games for the Stars from 1993-97.
Moog had a record of 372-209-88 with a 3.13 goals-against
