UIL gauging whether to test high schoolers for 'roids
AUSTIN -- University Interscholastic League officials agreed Tuesday to survey Texas school districts on whether high school athletes should be tested for steroids.
The vote was a first step in gauging the prevalence of steroid use among high school athletes and the need to test for them and other performance enhancing drugs.
