Ray has been disappointing in 2002
Ray A.J. Foyt isn't likely to sit back and just watch much longer. The driving legend-turned-car owner is expecting better results from Greg Ray, a fellow Texan he knows can drive fast.
Foyt hired Ray after Eliseo Salazar suffered a torn artery in his chest in an April 16 crash during testing at Indianapolis. The 1999 IRL champion was last in the Indianapolis 500 after crashing on lap 30 of 200 and finished 12th last week at Texas with a mishandling car.
