Inside the Huddle: Hope for Upshaw?

There is some hope that despite a torn ACL, Regan Upshaw won't miss the entire season.

UpshawMaybe they are being overly optimistic, but the Raiders believe defensive end Regan Upshaw, who tore his right ACL last week, will be able to come back by late October. The basis of their hope is that current Raiders Rod Woodson and Jerry Rice came back to play in the season of their ACL tears -- Woodson with the Steelers in Super Bowl XXX and Rice with the 49ers in December of 1997. Upshaw has a clean tear similar to theirs.
