James fined, has license suspended
FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Indianapolis Colts running back Edgerrin James was fined $500 and his driver's license was suspended for a month for speeding in his hometown.
James was caught driving at 111 mph in a 60 mph zone on May 8 in Immokalee, about 125 miles southeast of Tampa.
His attorney, Paul Layne, accepted the fine and suspension at Collier County traffic court hearing Tuesday to avoid a trial.
