Bledsoe, draft picks bring optimism

The Bills have enough offensive talent in place to benefit from the offseason acquisition of QB Drew Bledsoe.

PITTSFORD, N.Y. -- Here are five observations from Bills camp:

1. Most of the attention being afforded the Bills, who have won only 11 games over the past two seasons, is because of the presence of quarterback Drew Bledsoe. No problem there since the draft day trade for the former New England Patriots star is the move that re-energized the franchise, and provides Buffalo its most unchallenged leader since the retirement of Jim Kelly.
