With the third pick of the 2002 NBA draft, the Golden State Warriors selected to turn their multi-million dollar franchise player into a common power forward.

Antawn Jamison slashes, he dashes in syncopated stutter steps ending in bank shots and finger rolls at obtuse angles. No two releases are ever alike but completely dependent on the one before. When you're up, he's down. And vice-versa. Right hand on the orange ball. He is a 6-foot-9 Twister game in three dimensions.

Twice, he's scored more than 50 points in a single game. Twice, he's led the Warriors in scoring, including his 24.9 average in 2000. Twice, he was named the College Player of the Year after his junior season at North Carolina.
