Smith says he'd like to play 'another 2-3 years'
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Emmitt Smith doesn't want to simply fade away after he sets the NFL rushing record. In fact, he sees himself playing for another few seasons, and hopes it will be with the Dallas Cowboys.
"If my health holds up and my performance continues to maintain and get better, I can play another two, three years,'' Smith said Thursday night before the Cowboys played Jacksonville in a preseason game.
