The amazing Oakland A's have put together one of baseball's all-time great winning streaks.

On June 26, 2001, the Oakland A's lost the first game of a three-game series in Seattle to drop to 35-40. They were 19 games behind the Mariners and appeared out of the wild-card race as well.

Wrong. The A's went a remarkable 67-20 the rest of the way, including a 29-4 stretch to finish the season, and won 102 games.
