Mason has surgery on dislocated shoulder
CHICAGO -- Chicago Bulls rookie guard Roger Mason had surgery Thursday to repair a dislocated right shoulder and will be sidelined for about four months.
The surgery was performed by Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Ala.
Mason will start rehabbing the shoulder next week. In three months, he is expected to start functional basketball drills. In four months, he will be able to begin playing basketball.
The 6-5 Mason was the Bulls' second-round pick in the 2002 draft
