Elliott aims to jump a few spots

One thing is certain entering Sunday's NAPA 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway: The championship chase is over for Bill Elliott for this season.

With four races left and 439 points behind leader Tony Stewart, Elliott's hopes for his second career Winston Cup title are history.

That's the bad news.
