Seahawks win comes at a price

Seattle beat the Cowboys, but injuries to Trent Dilfer and Darrell Jackson left few smiling in Seattle's locker room.

IRVING, Texas -- When a team has won just one of six games, and the whispers of questionable job security are growing ever louder, a head coach should be able to savor a hard-earned victory.

Try as he might, though, Seattle Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren found it difficult to summon a smile Sunday evening after his club's 17-14 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Then again, who could blame Holmgren for his mixed emotions, given what transpired during and after the game.
