Richter remains out indefinitely

Mike Richter does indeed have a concussion and will continue to be out indefinitely.

The New York Rangers goaltender completed two days of tests under the supervision of concussion specialist Dr. Karen Johnston.

Richter was accidentally kneed in the head by Todd Marchant of the Edmonton Oilers on Nov. 5. The team initially believed the injury was a concussion, and the fears were confirmed by Dr. Johnston.

The Rangers do not know how long Richter will be sidelined.
