Graves, Chen still eligible for arbitration
CINCINNATI -- The Cincinnati Reds avoided salary arbitration with four players Thursday, agreeing to one-year contracts with pitchers Ryan Dempster and Scott Williamson, infielder Aaron Boone and catcher Jason LaRue.
Dempster will be paid $3.25 million next season and Williamson will get $1.6 million with a chance to earn an additional $400,000 in performance bonuses.
Boone will get $3.7 million and LaRue will be paid $1.25 million.
