Kim expected to get chance to start

PHOENIX -- The Arizona Diamondbacks agreed to contract Thursday with reliever Byung-Hyun Kim and outfielder Quinton McCracken.

Kim agreed to a one-year deal worth $3.25 million. McCracken's two-year contract is for $3.5 million split evenly at $1.75 million per year.

The Diamondbacks avoided arbitration by reaching the agreements.

The deals leave the team with outfielder David Dellucci as its lone unsigned arbitration-eligible player.
