Ruegg edges cousin's team in four-man; U.S. fifth

ST. MORITZ, Switzerland -- Ralph Ruegg led Switzerland to its first World Cup victory of the season in the four-man bobsled event Sunday, narrowly beating his cousin, Ivo Ruegg.

Former world and European champion Bruno Mingeon of France finished third. Todd Hays led the U.S. team to a fifth-place finish.

Ralph Ruegg completed the first run in 1 minute, 5.83 seconds and added a second run of 1:05.55 to beat his cousin by .13 seconds.
