Johnson dies at 43 from colon cancer
CLEVELAND -- Former Cleveland Browns linebacker Eddie Johnson, who was known as "The Assassin'' because of his hard tackles, died Jan. 21 after a two-year battle with colon cancer. He was 43.
Former teammates such as Hanford Dixon and Rickey Feacher held vigil at the hospital during his final hours.
