Caminiti gets extra day for independent urine analysis
HOUSTON -- Former National League MVP Ken Caminiti won a one-day delay of a scheduled court appearance Monday after the convicted drug user last week flunked a urine test in violation of probation.
"It was decided that we'll be back tomorrow," attorney Kent Schaffer said. "We're going to try to reach some sort of settlement with the court, with the state, that will allow Ken to get whatever help he needs."
