Some observers accused the Cleveland Cavaliers of tanking games this season to increase the odds the team would land the top pick in the NBA Draft. But if the Cavaliers were really that desperate to land LeBron James, they should have tried winning a few more games. By finishing in a tie for the league's worst record, the Cavs assured themselves a share of the best odds of picking first ... but that doesn't mean they're good odds.
