Bank! There, I called it. Somebody had to call it. Dirk Nowitzki set a franchise record on the first day of the 2003 NBA Playoffs. Tracy McGrady set a franchise record on the second day. Kobe Bryant scored 39 and this is the last time we're going to mention his name as we begin the third day because some tall, skinny kid in a Phoenix Suns uniform lifted up his right arm and refused to lower it until the ball he shot bounced off the glass and into the net to send that particular playoff game into overtime.
