Highly-regarded guard commits to Memphis

Guard Darius Washington of Orlando-Edgewater, Fla., the state's leading player in Class 2004 and one of the Top 10 prospects in the nation, has committed to the Memphis Tigers.

Washington was recruited by virtually every college, including such powers as Indiana, Florida State, North Carolina State, UConn, Miami, Arizona, UCLA, Washington, South Florida, Auburn, Florida, Georgia and Kentucky.
