JACK DEL RIO, JAGUARS -- A Del Rio's top priority was getting more speed on a D that ranked 25th against the run (20th overall). Signing LB Mike Peterson from Indy and Philly's DE Hugh Douglas fixed that problem. And those signings gave Del Rio and player personnel VP James Harris the freedom to steal Byron Leftwich at No.7 in the draft, instead of going after a D-lineman. After a year learning the West Coast O, Leftwich will make Mark Brunell expendable.
