If it weren't for Minnesota's Marian Gaborik, the Wild's season would be over by now. And if Minnesota avoids elimination Monday night at Vancouver in Game 5 of their Western Conference semifinal series, it's a good bet Gaborik will be responsible.

The hard-shooting, 21-year-old Slovakian has added to his reputation as the game's next big superstar by raising his game in the playoffs and continuing to pile up points against the Canucks, who lead the best-of-7 series 3-1.

Entering Monday's games, Gaborik was first in postseason goals with eight and second in scoring with 13 points, one behind Dallas' Mike Modano.
