Straka says strained groin not serious
PITTSBURGH -- Penguins forward Martin Straka says he suffered a minor injury while playing for the Czech Republic national team at the World Championships in Finland. Straka says he strained his groin and it's not serious. He is scheduled to go through minor surgery today so doctors can remove pins from his right ankle and right knee. Straka then plans to take time off. Straka shattered the lower part of his leg early in the 2001-2002 season.
