With the NFL owners' meetings starting next week in Philadelphia, the not so new topic of finding a new team for the Los Angeles market had made its way onto the docket.

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told the Orange County Register Wednesday that commissioner Paul Tagliabue "decided to add it to the agenda and discuss it at the meeting," which begins Tuesday.

The move was made in response to recent events that have pushed the subject back into the headlines. The Rose Bowl Operating Committee met with the Pasadena City Council this week to hammer out a financing plan after the Rose Bowl revealed plans for a $500 million renovation. Also this week the L.A. City Council decided it had found the best possible site for football's return to Los Angeles -- The Coliseum.
