St. Louis Blues: It's a credit to Barret Jackman's performance this past season that he won the Calder Trophy as rookie of the year considering he had just 19 points and was a stay-at-home defenseman for the Blues.

Washington Capitals: You'd think trying to trade a 31-year-old, five-time scoring champion would be easier. But Jaromir Jagr's $11 million per year contract, his reputation as a difficult personality and an uncertain economic future for the league has left few teams interested in or capable of acquiring the Capitals star.

Detroit Red Wings: Sergei Fedorov once had a five-year, $50 million offer on the table from the Red Wings, but the Detroit center let it sit too long before the team withdrew it. Now Fedorov's agent reportedly wants the team to revive the offer before he becomes an unrestricted free agent July 1.
