CHICAGO -- Speed and toughness have always been the key to Jay Williams' success on the basketball court -- flashing past a defender to the basket, darting in to make a steal, outracing everyone on a fast break.
Taking the ball to the basket against bigger players, Williams knew getting knocked to the floor was part of the deal. So was getting back up.
