Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The waiting game continues for RB Michael Pittman. It could be another month before a judge decides whether Pittman violated the terms of his probation by allegedly ramming his Hummer into his wife's car during an argument May 31. A hearing on the matter is scheduled for Wednesday in Tempe, Ariz., but attorneys on both sides of the issue said Monday that a verdict will not be reached at that time. "This is simply the first hearing; it's more like an arraignment,'' Joel Thompson, who recently replaced Philip Noland as Pittman's defense attorney, told the Tampa Tribune. "This is simply to make Michael aware of what it is the prosecution alleges he did to violate probation.'' Thompson and City of Tempe prosecutor Robert Hubbard said Wednesday's court session likely will set a date for the presentation of evidence against Pittman.
