Portion of proceeds will go to charity

Three National League MVP Awards won by Brooklyn Dodgers catcher Roy Campanella sold for a combined $340,000 in an auction on Saturday.

A pair of cleats worn in Campanella's last game before a car accident in 1958 paralyzed him and prematurely ended his career sold for $22,000. One of his game-used gloves sold for $38,000, while a Brooklyn Dodgers warmup jacket cost the winning bidder $31,000.
