Philadelphia deals with rash of injuries

Rookie defensive end Jamaal Green, the Philadelphia Eagles' fourth-round draft choice and a player expected to contribute to the team's line rotation during the second half of the season, will miss the entire 2003 season after undergoing Saturday surgery to repair a fractured right fibula sustained in a Friday night preseason game.
