Pens face goaltending decisions

Nothing about last season was stable for the Pittsburgh Penguins, but this summer they have taken assertive steps to stabilize their goaltending for years to come. First the Penguins traded up to take Marc-Andre Fleury first overall in the NHL entry draft in June. Then last week, they signed Sebastien Caron, 23, to a four-year, $3.2 million guaranteed deal that pays him the same amount if he's in the minors or the NHL. Those two moves leave the futures of Johan Hedberg and Jean-Sebastien Aubin, the two netminders Pittsburgh started last season with, in doubt beyond this season.
