McGrady day-to-day with back injury
SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico -- A sprained back kept Tracy McGrady from attending Monday night's game between the United States and Canada at the FIBA-Americas Olympic qualifying tournament.
McGrady, who sat out the second half of Saturday's game against the U.S. Virgin Islands because of the injury, is day-to-day. He had been bothered by the injury in his lower back for more than two years.
McGrady has been the U.S. team's leading scorer, averaging 14.5
