Firman still must pass one more test
LONDON -- Briton Ralph Firman has passed a preliminary fitness test for Sunday's Italian Formula One Grand Prix after crashing heavily in Hungary three weeks ago, his Jordan team said on Tuesday.
A spokeswoman said Firman, who missed testing in Monza last week, had a check-up in London on Monday with Peter Hamlyn, assistant of FIA medical delegate Sid Watkins.
"He's fine and he can't wait to get back in the car," she said.
