Denver Broncos: The organization is going to be fined by the NFL, but it has nothing to do with coach Mike Shanahan's white lie he told about QB Jake Plummer last week. Instead, it has to do with the white uniforms they wore last Sunday. Before the season, the Broncos arranged to wear their blue uniforms in San Diego, meaning the Chargers would wear white. Instead, the Broncos showed up only with their white uniforms, and the Chargers were forced to wear their dark colors in the midday sun. NFL spokesman Steve Alic told the Denver Post the league has not yet issued a fine, but was "looking into the matter."

Arizona Cardinals: Arizona got a big win Sunday, but there is an interesting note to their first victory of their season. In Friday's practice, the Cardinals were reportedly working on a silent count. That's because the Cards knew that the majority of the people in the stands were going to be Packer fans. The Cardinals drew 23,127 in paid attendance for their home opener against Seattle last week, but had 58,704 come to see Green Bay, and the stadium was awash in green and gold.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Jacksonville has some concerns in their defensive backfield after DB James Trapp aggravated his injured ankle in the second half. Trapp missed the first two games because of the sprain and his status for Sunday's game in Houston is up in the air. Trapp's availability is of the utmost importance, because DB Kiwaukee Thomas already is out indefinitely with a severe groin strain. In his brief time on the field, Trapp made his presence felt by intercepting QB Peyton Manning.
